1.Logged into Marketplace
2. copied the Marketplace api key in my marketplace account .
3. Logged into admin and tried to add the key and got the error message.

2. You have posted in 4.0 Bug Reports. Whilst it is not uncommon for users to post in the wrong section, we will advise you not to use OC4 for commercial sites as it is still not functional. There is a 3.0.3.8 maintenance version that supports php8. It is an unofficial version and if you search the forum (google) for 3.x.x.x maintenance you will find the link.

4. The marketplace has nothing to do with us.
I presume you are referring to the "Register your store" section in the Opencart Marketplace ?

When you install Opencart there is a default API key. I have never logged into the Marketplace to Register a store and I have never had an issue with not being able to access the Marketplace from any store admin that I have written.

It is not a support department like if you went onto the Apple Forum for instance and there were paid employees to assist with Apple product issues.

You need to use the Contact Us link from this site in order to reach the support team on their end for this type of issue. Alternatively, since you are reporting an issue in regard to OC 4, if the issue hasn't been fixed already, you can always submit your issue on the Github repository in the issues tab: https://www.github.com/opencart/opencart/issues by also stating your OC version and that includes when creating new topics on the forum in accordance to the forum rules.stevepatco wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 12:15 amAre you saying the forum.opencart.com is not affiliated with opencart.com?
