I'm returning to OC after several years and wonder what the most reliable version is nowadays?
Before I think I was using 2.3.0.1 or similar, at the time v3 wasn't as stable.
Should I just start afresh with v4? I have extensions in v2 that I would like to keep using.

Upgrade Service | OC 2.3.0.2 PHP 8 | My Custom OC 3.0.3.8 | Buy me a beer
Well that's very helpful thank you.
I asked a perfectly valid question, you reply sarcastically indicating the v5 wouldn't be out until 2025.
OC is available to download in v4 so I'm not sure why you're being so unhelpful.
If anyone other than this member can answer my question seriously it would be greatly appreciated.

3.0.3.8 seems to be the most stable latest version
4.x is still buggy and needs a lot more fixes

OpenCart 4.0.1.1 isn't stable enough IMHO for a live website, it should only be used by developers.
Use OpenCart 3.0.3.8 (for PHP 7.4), or the 3.0.x.x_Maintenance (based on 3.0.3.8 with some bugfixes and added PHP 8 support) for a live website.
