Fake Gift Vouchers

Hello
We hare Opencart 3.0.3.8 installed and all works like smoof, but the last days we have got a lot of fake gift vouchers in the admin under Sale-gift vouchers.
If i want to delete them i first have to delete en the failed order har createt the gift voucher.
How can i prevent to get those fake gift vouchers??
I have search for a kind of spam protecion but without any luck.

Are you saying people are putting through orders with your store gift vouchers you never actually created and your shop is accepting them and processing the discount?

No the vouchers Can not be used - but i wonder why they are there when the order where the voucher is created not is complete

We have a new v3.0.3.8 site and getting the same thing. Did you find a solution ?

We use 3.0.3.7 - and the same thing. It all started after installing an extension to bulk load coupons. At first very few - now all the time. They are able to place an order for the gift vouchers which is stupid - they are not ordering product just gift vouchers so it does nothing but muddy up my system.
I go into gift vouchers and delete them and then delete the orders - but how do I stop this? I have guest checkout banned - we do custom screen printing so we need the contact information, these "orders" have no contact info at all. We don't use gift vouches - I have been looking at API's to see if that is a way to stop them. I have deleted a couple of I/P's from Russia and some in the United States but I don't know if I can just delete all the I/Ps but my own. (I see the sessions from after the orders are placed) Any input/help would be appreciated as I don't know anything about API's...

If you don't use vouches you could remove catalog/controller/account/voucher.php and any links to account/voucher.

Or just comment out this section to stop them being created.
