Fresh install of OC 3.0.3.8 on linux. /config.php and /admin/config.php both have double slashes after install procedure (define server lines at the top).

But when I remove the extra slash it breaks the install and then when I try to log back into the admin control panel I can't get past the login credentials screen.

Hosting tech support claims that the double slashes are due to "SEO friendly" setting but I have not changed that setting. Hosting tech support claims that the 2 slashes do not seem to affect functionality and not to be concerned about them but I have a hard time believing that. Is it supposed to be like this? Or am I missing something? Hopefully I have provided enough info.

Run this script as a separate PHP file: viewtopic.php?f=199&t=198781&p=699560#p699560 . Once you're done with the paths, remove your additional PHP file from your file server.
