Fresh install, no changes made other than products and categories. I tried going to Downloads and adding a small file and it works. However when trying to add a larger file, about 35MB it gives an error (why do these errors not go to /storage/logs/error.log).

Anyway, I've edited the php.ini file in the root to say 500M. I also edited the php.ini in /etc/php/8.1/apache2 to be the same, restarted Apache. Doesn't seem to do anything, still get the error.

The error just reads... error_upload

I looked in all the log files I could find, and don't see anything. Any suggestions on where I might look?
Thanks.

Ok I found it under /var/log/php
[08-Oct-2022 14:59:33 America/New_York] PHP Warning: POST Content-Length of 35010267 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 bytes in Unknown on line 0

So it didn't actually have anything to do with the upload_max_filesize setting. It was the post_max_size setting which I had to edit in the /etc/php/8.1/apache2 directory.

Hope this helps someone else out there. When I first downloaded and installed Opencart many, many years ago everything just seemed to work. With this new version, I'm having so many problems I've actually considered switching over to something else. Not sure what happened to this software.
