Good morning,
I recently installed OC 3.0.3.8 and everything went fine with the install. I was able to log into the admin panel but when I click on one of the Navigation menus on the left (Catalog, for example), it will expand for a second and then immediately collapse. If I am quick enough I can click on one of the sub-items (Categories) and it will go to that page and the Catalog menu will stay expanded. However, when I then click on, say, Extensions, the same thing happens. I managed to get to the error log and nothing is showing. This issue happens across multiple browsers and I have not been able to find anything about this specific issue on the forums or google. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
No, this is the base install and at the time I had not made any changes to anything. I did have to downgrade the version of PHP I was using to resolve another issue but the Navigation menu problem is still there.
Could it be an ad blocker in your browser?

Since nobody else can reproduce this problem, we really need more details, such as exact OC version, extensions, theme, web browsers used, PHP version used, on what operating system, etc. Otherwise we won't be able to help you here.

Thank you to everyone who replied trying to help. Because I had just installed OC and not made any major changes yet, I wiped everything from the server, including the database, and reinstalled everything. Once I did that, the navigation menus started working. I am not sure what exactly happened, I can only conclude that something either went wrong with the initial installation, or I made a mistake somewhere. Again, thank you to everyone! Your willingness to give your time to help others is greatly appreciated.

But after that i was facing header below issue
Warning: mysqli::__construct(): Headers and client library minor version mismatch. Headers:100508 Library:30120 in /home/identit1/public_html/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 7
so i contact my hosting provide for this. maybe that was issue of mysqli version. They correct that. But after that my website is working fine beside admin panel menus.. They are collapsing now.. only dashboard menu is working.

I installed Opencart Version 3.0.3.9 with the PHP 7.4 version. My dashboard navigation menu keeps collapsing.
The same issue as above like when clicking on Catalog or Extensions, it will expand for a second and then immediately collapse.
I tried removing everything and installing another version Opencart 3.0.3.8, but I got the same error of collapsing menu.
Another thing I want to ask is why on my Administration page for login is on the left side and not in the middle like it should be. Is it some bug or something?

clear browser cache would be my first call. as it loads find for me on firefox.

Thanks for the help. Clearing my browser cache was the solution to my problem.
Both the collapsing issue of the dashboard navigation menu and admin login page of Opencart were working fine in my Firefox browser, only the problem was in my Chrome browser and was solved after I cleared my browser cache and history.
