I am in need of a PHP/OpenCart developer to modify an existing OpenCart installation and provide support as needed.
The main feature I need is to modify OpenCart to work with a rental system. The items/products are rented in advance, then picked up or delivered (shipping mod) by the customer, and then returned several days or weeks later where they are not available for rental again for another few days.
On the front end, the mod should allow the customer to pick the dates they need the rental and in what quantity. During checkout they specify delivery or pickup and they pay a deposit, with the balance charged X days from pickup date.
On the back end the admin will need the ability to control inventory, as the stock levels will vary based on date. When an order is returned, inventory needs to be restored after a set amount of days.
More details can be shared, with specific examples etc. There are many more smaller mods that are needed besides the above.
