Will OC 1.5.6.1 support MySQL 5.7 / MariaDB 10.3

My hosting company are uplifting mysql from 5.6 to 5.7 and Maria Db from 10.0 to 10.3 due to end of life. Can I expect any problems when this happens with our website which was built in 2014 using OC 1.5.6.1?
We have been reluctant to upgrade OC because of the cost and the fact that it is perfectly adequate for it's purpose. Hopefully this uplift doesn't signal the end!

The best way to know is by creating a backup and to try. However, take note that such versions may not work with older PHP versions than PHP 7.4x releases.

Well, you could still install the latest OC v.1.5.6.5_rc-based Version for Tests in a separate Directory,
to then at least have the latest updated 1.5.6.x Version running on your Site:

We run a 1.5.x site on MariaDB 10.3.34 with no issues. Although this is a maintained fork with no extensions.
