I have a clothing store where Catalog changes every season. i.e. winter, summer and spring catalogs. I want to create archives of previous seasons and want the old items to appear in archive page. Well thats what I am want ultimately, but don't know how I am gonna do that.
Any idea how to achieve this?

I would create a category called Archive then create sub categories of Spring 2020, Summer, 2020, Autumn 2020, Winter 2020, Spring 2021. etc.

Yes that is what i2paq suggested, but this does not remove the items from your product list.

And actually, it is quite useful to have them not appearing in the product list - it was brought up, a few days later I came up against the same problem - that was all - I was not suggesting that using the category function was not useful (nor is there any harm in using both, nor that using SOLD as another way to do it) but neither improve the situation with the product list itself - so I created a module to do that for anyone who might find it useful -

This topic, as the provided solution, is quite old. Nowadays, better to set archived products in an inventory by using a financial platform as a service so not to impact your stock levels and revenues at the end of the year.

Well yes, this was my conclusion also .. but in reality as long as the stock is zero what difference does it make if you put it into categories or stock statuses?
It can’t mess up your financials or inventory - just a little cleaner to use the word archived .. I don’t really see it makes that much difference .. my mod is not about accounting - it is simply to make your life easier in the product list when you have 5 years of old stock - just to archive them - exactly as you do in the real world of retail rather than the virtual one - put them somewhere so they don’t get in the way (or damaged actually) and yet easily found for the future ...
