Opencart 2.3.0.2
Out of the blue this morning our store admin started redirecting to the store home page. So /admin redirects to /
To troubleshoot I have renamed the .htaccess file, restored a default starter .htaccess file and checked the config files and everything seems to be fine. What's puzzling is that I still had my admin session open from earlier and I can navigate around the admin just fine, but if I try to go to the admin home page I'm redirected.
Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this? Thanks

We have lots of extensions, which unfortunately I can't list because I can't get into the admin site to view them.
I've just restored a site backup from a month ago, however, and the issue still persists which tells me it has to be a setting saved in the DB (not restored), most likely with an extension. :|

Have tried everything as OP also mentioned but no luck. Have open the ticket with hosting team and now waiting from there side. So far the update is it might be issue coming from SSL.
I have check the view source code and can see CROS POLICY error there. The site was ok from previous one year it start being wired only yesterday.

Try putting a clean OC in a sub folder. Copy the root config.php file and admin config.php file with adjusted paths into the sub solder. You may be able to log in and disable third party extensions and narrow down the problem.
