I am not sure what happened because my store was working fine but now when I log in Admin using the Admin password, every option tells me that I don't have permission. Is there a file or setting in database that I can look at to fix this issue?

Hello,
How did that happen!!
Restore the 'permission' field in table `user_group` for ' Administrator' from you database backup and ensure that the user 'admin' has user_group_id = 1 in table `user`.

Mine does not look like that and I have no idea how this changed. The permission are different than what is in my back file that I took before this happened.

OC version. You could always create a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum to have this issue investigated further as a custom job or you could always install a fresh version of OC on a virtual server to make the comparison.

That snapshot from o.c. 3.0.3.8 database, I checked o.c. 2.0.3.1 it is the same. what is your o.c. version? are using opencart

I can give you the permission field content from o.c. 2.0.3.1 fresh install to replace your field content with. But that might make errors if have added extensions that need permissions.
See this video that will learn you how to restore `user_group` permissions from your database backup:

Backup your database first.
If the problem happened again do as 'straightlight' said. You must know what is the reason for.

Thanks for the video. I took the truncate and insert statement from my back and ran it and now it works so that fixed it.moshair wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 4:24 am
