If you're a developer, then why do you even created this topic? Fix extension yourself, if you didn't get any response from extension's author.
Look, the_krotek, we were talking about something else and now you are making it personal, obviously because you are lacking serious arguments.

If you are a developer yourself, you should know that there are various degrees in the expertee level and the time available. There is no developer that can do everything! If you know such a guy/girl, let me know. Mine bring me to the need of buying and asking some support. Buying and asking. Not just asking. I have even bought a couple of your extensions. Don't you want developers as your clients? Interesting.

So, to make things clear. If something bad happens to a member of a team, the rest of the team has to come up and inform the clients or try to solve the issue. If you claim to be a company, then the forementioned are obligatory not only for the company but for their partners (Opencart in this case) too. Not answering is not a serious solution.

The main argument is that you've wasted a bunch of time and keep wasting it. Instead of fixing the issue, you bashing your head against the wall. I would never ever spend so much time on waiting and then even more time on whining on the forums. Send the message, wait a couple days, try to send another one, wait another couple days and then do something: either fix yourself or find someone to fix it for you. If both options unavailable to you - submit a refund request and move on. That's it, problem solved.

Maybe you should tell us if you are joking here.

Obviously, this is the option and I have done it in similar cases but the main difference here is that this is not of rush for me and moreover not so important but I would like it to be solved at some time!

Thank you for your advice and recommedations. Really helpful but OBVIOUS.

Of course I am a developer ..
So, what?
The whole discussion here is for the "fish", simply fix it by yourself.

I took the time to inform my clients for delays or incapabilities.
As this "discussion" goes on, you are telling us more and more details - interesting!
If you "have" clients, that means you get paid.
So, if the extension would be that urgent, or required and the "developer" does not respond, I fix it by myself.
Not waiting week over week.

And if you cannot do it by yourself, hire some professional who can do it.

Useless to answer here again.

I will assume that you just did not read my last reply.
If you did and made that comment, then, of course, there is no use in answering again.

He did read your last reply and he basically told you the same. But hey, it's your time, your tears, you may waste them as much as you like. Just don't create any topics like this in the future.

That's not really a great answer tbh.

OpenCart Support should be answering here - this is a paid product and if it's not working as expected, support should be expected.

In my experience, OpenCart Support do always reply and follow things up with the developers.

In terms of punishments for developers who don't reply - this already exists, OpenCart take more commission from sales of developers who don't provide good support.

We would usually recommend sticking to this list of developers: https://www.antropy.co.uk/blog/how-to-f ... xtensions/

You could ask PayPal for a refund on the extension payment but I suggest you try OpenCart Support again.

You could also pay a developer here to fix the problem if you really need this extension to work one way or another.

Thank you for your reply based on common sense.
I contacted Opencart support again and I am waiting their reply.

@thekrotek is usually a very good and helpful developer but I guess they were having a bad day.

But I think it's fair to say and even @thekrotek would agree that if you buy a product and it doesn't work as expected, you can expect support from whoever you paid the money to.
