Import/Export Mod 1.4.8 "file not readable"

Hi Newby here,

I have read all of the instructions as to installing the import/export module & I think I did everything right but when I try to import my excel spreadsheet back into OC I get this error message.. "The filename /tmp/phpGXui0o is not readable" although....the info after /tmp/ usually is different each time I've tried to import. I can export just fine...that's how I knew what the spreadsheet format should be but just having difficulty with the import back into OC.

I've tried to read all posts related to try & come up with something on my own but no luck.

Would greatly appreciate any help

I figured out that I have a newer version of Excel installed & when I would save the file it would save with the extension .xlsx & all I had to do was save my file with the older .xls extension.

Maybe this will help someone else out.

Just read your post. It would be great if the plugin would except the latest version of Excel 2007 xlsx. The file sizes are a less than half the size.

Im running on a shared server and the max file size i can use is 2.5meg (i think) my file is 2.7meg (XLS)

The XLSX is 499kb's !!

Go figure!
