can't open admin after uploading import-export files

I'm following the instructions in the readme, and I uploaded the "admin" folder of the import-export zip into my OC folder on the server, so it would merge the files.

I now cannot open the admin at all. The store comes up, but when I go to /admin/index.php, I get redirected to "/install/index.php", and I get the store front end with the message "The page you requested cannot be found!"

I'm now completely unable to work with my store.

Can this be fixed, or can I just remove this thing, or am I now completely screwed?

Well, I had to just reinstall everything. This is getting ridiculous.
