I'm trying to embed an iframe into an information page, but the RTE is stripping it out upon save. Is there a way to disable that behaviour?

I would not suggest the use of iFrame with HTML 5 / Bootstrap.

Well Google, who own YouTube seem to think it's a perfectly reasonably way to embed videos and maps onto a page. I'm well aware of the risks with iframes and don't need a lecture from someone who doesn't know the context.

Let's take it into account that Youtube users are also posting by their own perspective as opposed to the average where an actual company / corporation may address their own versions along in the process. In these situations, more research needs to be done.

You really should leave the atempt to developers....as it seems you go in the right way to get hacked or banned by Google itself.

HTML5 (ever heard of it?) embedding, not iFrames.....

I have an extension that will allow you to add a youtube video to the information pages or a set of them in a slider - or within a pop-up - or a slider from the side - it uses layouts -
To have it on an individual information page there is a little work around.

What you do need to be aware of is that youtube videos can not be scaled for small screens - so it needs to be small enough for mobiles (300/350px width) and use the in-built youtube full screen mode.

It is a work around - but the offer is there if you want it.
