Hello and firstly a big thank you for this forum!
I am working with OC Version 3.0.3.7 with minimal modifications (not live yet).
Recently I discovered the extension Text/Textarea Pricing by Character or Word from Qphoria (https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... er=qphoria). It is really great and fits my needs perfectly for some of my use cases.
Is something similiar possible with the file upload option? Some kind of pricing by upload (image/file)?
If yes, how much would it cost? If no, why not?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Alex

If it's for third party sellers on your site you could use a multimerch extension. That would allow you to charge for listing items.

No, it's not for third party sellers.
I am a photographer specialized in reportage family photography. A pricing per upload extension could be used for ordering prints for example.
The price per character/word from Qphoria is great for re-ordering prints. My customers just need to enter the image numbers - no need to re-upload images, saving resources... bandwith, storage and so on.
From my point of view the pricing by character/word seems far more complex to code than pricing by (number of) uploads/images. But I'm not a developer so maybe I am completely wrong with that :-)
