[SOLVED] Better options management

im searching for a extension or good advice for my problem.

lets say i sell furnitures. and i have a cretain set of materials/colors for a certain group of furnitures, lets say i have green and yellow for chairs and rugs.
and i have 20 different chairs and 10different rugs with those colors.
Now i get a new supply og colors wich includes blue. as it is now. i have to edit each of the chairs and rugs to apply one color.
if instead i could associate a option, and not the optionvalues individually.
so each time i update the option the new optionvalue is updated across all products with that option.
i hope it makes sense, or else i wil try to explain it better.
i know that other shopsystems does this in a easier way. so it is possible. and i hope it is also possible in opencart with the structure that is build arround the current option setup.

Well, I don't know, what you expect, but if you are looking for a custom
Solution on such, you have to be willing to play for, it's the default OC way
of doing things, other Shop Systems might do this in different ways ...

It could be done by creating an event but take note that updating option values across all products such ways requires an extended and allowable php limit set so for your product option values not to be expired with its operation by the browser before completion.

We use the Export/Import tool for bulk updates which includes product option values.

had been looking at this one for a while. but i was not sure if it could do the job. or if there were something better.
