Well, Journal is not related with/to Opencart, meaning, that OpenCartdo you know the reason for not being supported
cannot make any Profit out of it. But OC is NOT just a free Gift from
Heaven, or a free Community Project, they have to generate Income
in some Ways, to stay alive. That should not be so hard, to understand.
And a J - Download is larger in Size than an OpenCart Download itself,
meaning, that it add's a lot of additional Code to an OC Install, and so
partly changes the default OC way of doing things. And because of that,
Journal is not supported for free at this Forum, since it would not make
sense, to serve someone else's Customers, just for the plain fun of it. OC
is a plain Moneymaker Tool, not a free Game for Kids. So, if one decides,
to install a paid 3rd-party Journal Extension into OC, one has to be willing,
to either pay for Support here, or then, ask Journal Support, to assist, if
one needs to solve a Problem.
And I almost forgot, Journal belongs to the most STOLEN OpenCart-related
(Theme) Extensions too. So, why should this Place serve as free Platform, to
assist Crooks and Thiefs. it would be contrary to any Business Logic ...

Some OC Dev's will be willing to assist, if one is willing, to pay for support.
Nothing personal, just plain Information ...

The only solutions offered by Opencart regarding Journal are these:melihkizmaz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:01 pmThanks for your reply, do you know the reason for not being supported? Is there no solution by opencart?
- Contact the Journal support for further assistance regarding Journal
- Create a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum
- Contact an Opencart partner from the Resources menu at the top of the site that does not offer 3rd party solutions publicly on the forum
to resolve Journal issues.

The topic has already been placed in the commercial Section.Create a new service request in the Commercial Support section

Everybody is free, to either reply to it, or then just ignore it, as I mentioned
already in the 'internal' Section ...

Irrelevant. This topic is placed in the Commercial Themes section of the forum and not the Commercial Support section of the forum. Service requests are not about Commercial Themes. Commercial Themes are meant to publicize commercialized themes or templates web designers intends to announce to the public about Opencart.

already in an extended Comment in the internal Section. It's of little or no use, to
repeatetly be confronted with the same. Most All J-related Topics and Posting have
been moved into the commercial Theme Section, back to the End of 2016, and I'm
still waiting for a 'final' decision from HX, where to have them placed for good.

Goes by OP request or moderating analysis anyways. Until now, no custom jobs are being requested on the topic by the OP user which simply means it should be moved to the General Support or remain here by explaining to OP users that Journal is simply unsupported (both ways).

Well, some of the Topics always have been replied to, during all those Years.explaining to OP users that Journal is simply unsupported
And it should be 'decided' by Dev's, to offer (paid) assistance, as it has been
the case in the past, or then, just ignore such topics. It just needs a clear
statement from Daniel, on how to proceed, when it comes to paid Extensions
in general.

Paid extensions originates from the ones that Opencart supports from the Marketplace and always has been this way. Decisions should not be brought specifically by developers but rather by OP users who posts the needs for it. Otherwise, a forum wouldn't be ideal to offer the proper support to the users. If I'd had to be on the forum because I'd have to decide for OP users whenever support should be provided, as much as any qualified else users who might have the capability to provide such support, it simply wouldn't be beneficial for the community nor for its organization. It's simply called a matter of improvisation without the need to know everything. Which is why, support is still on-going on the forum.IP_CAM wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:15 pmWell, some of the Topics always have been replied to, during all those Years.explaining to OP users that Journal is simply unsupported
