hi all,
i had problem with the default templat on IE, the header image wasnt showen.
solved by deleting the line:

behavior: url('catalog/javascript/png/iepngfix.htc');

on the default.css file.

hope it will help someone  :)

the better solution is to delete the "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer" folder  and use firefox ;)  8) :P

*** EDIT ***

nah on a more serious note, I should be less critical of inferior web browsers

add this above and below that line. the iepngfix.htc is only meant for Internet explorer 6 however it does play funny tricks on Internet Explorer 7

Code: Select all

<!--[if IE 6]>
behavior: url('catalog/javascript/png/iepngfix.htc');
<![endif]-->

hmm.. i dont think I have that problem on IE7.. will the Internut Exploder wonders never cease.
But doesn't removing the behavoir thing break IE6 now?

Technically both pieces of advice from david were correct  ;D

anything browser-specific (and it's pretty much only the different versions of IE that need it) should be in a conditional statement.

for any of those wanting to learn more about conditional css statements for templating OpenCart, the following link offers some very useful information..
