customers are not getting notified when they place an order or when i say that the item has been shipped.
I don't know how to change this,
I saw that mail chimp have an integration for automation.
for mail chimp i tried to integrate it but i have recently updated from 1.1.5 to 3.3.6 and the code has gone, and i am unable to find where i put the html code to link my website to mailchimp

Ensure your OC admin > extensions > events and your OC admin > systems > settings > edit settings > Mail tab form are both properly configured. To configure your email settings, follow your host's specifications from your cPanel > Email > Settings page (SSL). You will need to either add ssl:// or tls:// in front of your hostname textbox in your OC admin email form and the port number either set to 465 or 567 - depending on the host.
