Hi,
I'm using OC 3.0.2.0 version Journal 3.
After a purchase I wish to assign a customer a specific, customised document which I want to be dowloadable from their account page.
Not product specific, but would be assigned to a customer or order.
Is there a way /extention to assign a specific document to a customer or to an order?
(So not product specific document but customer or order specific download)
(workarounds w/o extentions or free extentions are preferred)
Thanks in advance for any ide

You are using a poor quality non-standard compliant framework, namely Journal3. Hence you'll have to find a professional developer on the commercial support section of this forum, to have the modification done as a paid custom job.

I already found your extention, and if not finding any alternate solution will buy it

Thank you
Advising you not to use Journal is good and relevant advice, you should take note.

By relevant I mean relevant to the subject.
I don't know what problems you guys have with J3, but for beginners it gives a fatntastic platform to develop a designed and customised layout.
Anyways, Journal critic is not the subject of my question.
I simply asked if anyone'd have a solution for customer or order specific downloads.
Your answer is irrelevant in these terms, while I got a relevant answer from DigiCart, which I am really greatful for.
Still looking for a free solution if available though

While it might be providing a fantastic job to beginners, while it works, it simply hardens the tasks to troubleshooters when it no longer works due to those zillions of unsupported reasons there might be aside from the original package of Opencart. Therefore, if you have a specific request, but needs to be done among Journal, please, either, contact their support lines, or find an extension on the Marketplace that may suit your needs with Journal, or create a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum to get this done as a custom job.mikrocica wrote: ↑Sun Nov 15, 2020 10:51 pmBy relevant I mean relevant to the subject.

I don't know why you guys harden your lives with answering on sg that was not asked:)
Again: if you do not have a solution, it is really unnecessary to comment. Opinions? I didn't ask. Share it with your friends/family or among each other.
You are not listened?
Btw:
The solution shall not come from Journal's side. As DigitCart's extention proves:)
It is completely independent from it.
Instead of creating non-existing, non-mentioned problems, give me a solution. I know it's more complicated.
Get a life!

Because, regardless of the questions being asked, in this scenario, you are using an extension that Opencart.com does not support.mikrocica wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 2:13 amI don't know why you guys harden your lives with answering on sg that was not asked:)

who never even thought about, to add some of his OC Wisdom to this place, for free ?

The Code-Seller mentioned might have some Extensions, also matching Journal-Code, but
that's an Exception, since Journal add's more DATA Volume to OC, than OC contains on DATA
itself. Journal 3.1x, without Videos, Pic's, e.t.c., just the Code Files, is a ~12.8 MB ZIP, compared
with a ~10.4MB (no Images) ZIP Package of an OC v.3.36 Install, just to demonstrate, how much
NON-OC Custom Code is part of a Journal OC Installation...

So, take, what you get, and be happy, but better don't complain, you have no reason to.

Still you do keep bothering yourself with replying.
However I saw no criteria that this forum is only for super-opencart-nerds.
Let the version I use be my problem, care with yours:)
