Forgotten password not working

Dears
please i have an issue with opencart 3
i have installed oc 3 and journal theme
when we test forgotten password giving us a message that email send successfully but the mail not delivered at all
i try to use my office 365 smtp in order to check it is always giving error in sending the mail
please any chance to help our project stopped on that point
1 - how to let the mail of forgotten password working
2 - how to configure office365 smtp

While Jourmal is unsupported, you need to ensure your admin > extensions > events have the mail_forgotten event enabled and that your OC admin > systems > settings > edit settings > Mail tab is properly configured in compliance of your hosting specifications; including Office 365.

BTW.: Don't use the Journal3 framework, it doesn't comply with OpenCart standards.

I do the smtp configuration as you mentioned in the link exactly but when I try to send any mail forgotten or mail to all users I got the below error
