1.4.8b home position not working

There is something messing. The homepage for modules is not working. Fresh install of 1.4.8b. If I select home for any module it is not showing. Sidebars work fine.

The module disappears and there is no change in the center area.

I did add Alreadymade's Slideshow for opencart 1.4.8 and that is what is causing the problem. I working on it and I will post a solution for anybody that is interested.
