Hi all, this is a bit overwhelming to populate the product and images. Once complete how do I link my page to this site to make it work?
I did not expect to cause any arguements. >:( I
I am trying to link my shopping cart to my actual website. I am absolutely new to this (self taught) and I'm just looking for suggestions. Is there some type of instruction manual that can help me get through this?
Is it connected thru a hyperlink and using the domain.com/shop info? Not sure, please help.
Thank you,

You must be kidding!!Qphoria wrote: I think if might be trying to integrate his site with his cart but im not sure
I get an email for replies to topics I have posted on, and I came to the forum to see what the original poster had to say.
Instead I find your post here which says absolutely nothing of value. Please, don't do this!! It is a waste of everybody's time.
MEEEOW! Wake up on the wrong side of the bed did we?
I was merely suggesting to the original poster, whom may not have been sure of the correct wording, of a possible rewording of his question using different terminology that might make sense. He might have been able to say "yea that's what I mean" to my suggested wording. Not that my wording was correct either (i typed it on my cell phone and see the T9 used the wrong word). Based on the thread title that is what it seems he is requesting, but given the obvious nature of that question, there might have been more he could elaborate on before offering help.
Just trying to help, sorry for wasting yours, and everyone's time.

that's pretty much it. make a folder called 'shop' and install opencart into it, then link to it from your main site. there's no instruction manual beyond this:gmjjam wrote: Is it connected thru a hyperlink and using the domain.com/shop info? Not sure, please help.

one problem with setting your site up like this is that your customers won't be able to see what's in their cart until they visit the 'shop' part of your website - but don't worry about that until you've got the shop up and running. by then you should have gained the knowledge you need to properly integrate the shop into your current site.
Qphoria has a point, phrasing your questions well will get you a speedy and courteous response on most forums.
As I said, a rewording of the previous post adds no value.... except perhaps to boost your post count ??Qphoria wrote: MEEEOW! Wake up on the wrong side of the bed did we?
