I am not sure whether this is the right forum to ask.
I have opencart 1.5 and want to upgrade
what version should i upgrade now and why?
1.5.6 or 2.3 or version 3?
is there any difference in functionality and features? or in availability of mods?
please guide.
OC 3 is basically OC 2.4, not much new to offer. I'd recommend you to stay with OC 2.3, because OC 3 is less stable and new releases keep breaking stuff, which is a good old tradition now.

I strongly agree that OC 2.3 is better version due to its stability.
