I am in need of a CardPointe credit card processing extension for my cart. I'm using 3.0.3.6 and everything is ready to go, but I did not look to see if this was offered.

CardPointe Payments does not (yet) exist for OpenCart, as it looks.

Cardconnect payment extension is still in the core of opencart.com packages on this day. Small bugs are the config keys which do not have the payment_ prefixes on OC v3.0.3.6, still, and the year-date format added by cardconnect.com since August 8 2020. Otherwise, everything should work as it should.

Yes, because of the aspects I have addressed above.
