Shame the extension developer can't modify it or keep it up to date to work with Journal 3.

I'm sure they could, simple changes. I just wanted something slightly different than the out of the box version. I'm use to that though since majority of what I do is drop shipped. I set up each manufacturer as their own stock status, then use this extension to set the ship dates based on the manufacture. Modified it so it always shows, gets added to the schema.org json on the page, and sends over on the google shopping feed. Works like a champ!
