I need someone to develop a minimum order module. I've asked Qphoria, but he's either disinterested or busy.

The module would probably go on the Extensions/Order Totals page. I want to be able to set a minimum sub-total (such as $25). If the customer tries to check out with a subtotal below that, the cart would give her an error message, something simple like: "There is a minimum order of $25.00. Please select more items." It seems to me that such a module would be simple to write. If the module could be written in a transparent way so that it wouldn't need to be updated with future upgrades of OpenCart, that would be great.

If you have the skill to do this, please let me know how much you would charge for it.

Thanks!

So you are saying that such a module would not be simple to write? All it would do is stop the order process and throw up an error message if a customer tries to check out with a sub-total that is below a certain amount. I'm not a programmer, of course, but this is a module that would perform only one function, has only a couple parameters, and wouldn't require a lot of changes to the display. OpenCart already does a similar thing when a customer tries to check out with out-of-stock items in the cart. Can't that code be adapted somehow?

Let me add that this function needs to be added to OpenCart at some point anyway (the sooner the better). Many businesses have minimum orders, including almost all wholesale businesses that sell small items. Every wholesale supplier that I deal with has a minimum order. I can't emphasize enough how basic this function is.

Thank you. Will it work with 1.4.8? Your site says 1.40.

Thank you. I am going to bed now. When I get up, I will purchase the module if you say it works with 1.4.8.

So did you have to make a change to it?

It still says 1.40 on your site. If I download it, will I get the latest version?

I have also created a slightly different style. This one does individual min and max for total, item count, and weight. Leave any field blank to ignore
