Deleting Order Comments opencart? marketplace
why are we deleted our questions about order and add-on when we comment in the market section?
this is not true
if i comment on a plugin and it knows delete it then i can do every evil
no transparent policy, no reliability

Developers need the ability to delete comments because there's no one that monitors the marketplace. Sometimes we get spam comments, or unrelated questions, or duplicate questions, or negative reviews that are posted without even contacting the developer. If developers couldn't delete comments, someone could spam tons of extensions with no one to stop them.

That being said, some developers do use them to suppress valid negative reviews or questions, which is not good. Typically you should be able to tell if a developer has a good response ability by looking at all their extensions and the way they respond to comments. If someone deletes a valid question you post and doesn't answer it, I would definitely not purchase anything from that individual.

Feel free to call out the developer here if they remove valid comments.

thank you so much for answering I'm purchasing a $ 100 plug-in per day . 2 or 3 add-ons per day
and confirmation to purchase them 24 hours Waiting for Proof of ID
plugin installation error and installation issues comment response wait time 48 hours
If the plugin does not work and the developer does not help, there is no solution and reliability
developer can delete support and help comments
no refund and trust issues
the developer states it as easy installation, but all developers request ftp and password immediately
easy installation is not possible
and this time is getting longer
22 day 330 $ and still the site is not finished website
I'm a little confused I think it shouldn't be that hard
working right and really easy installation quick support and considerate customer service only journal 2 opencart Theme

Sorry to hear you're having issues with developers. You can always contact the OpenCart support team if the developer isn't responding, and is deleting your comments:

However, I will say that most developers state that comments are NOT for support. They're more for pre-sales questions, so make sure you're contacting the developer directly. If they don't respond within 48 hours, then they may be backed up with support requests right now, so please be patient. If they continue to not respond or are unwilling to help within a few days, then contact the OpenCart team and say that there are issues and no support. They should be able to contact the developer as well on your behalf.

Keep in mind that Journal modifies a lot of core OpenCart functionality, so you can expect issues when you install other modifications. As developers we can't predict how these modifications will affect our extensions, so we often do need to access the server via FTP to see the problem. I don't know which developer you're in contact with, but they may actually need to look at your site to resolve the issue. The only way they wouldn't is if you can reproduce the issue on a fresh OpenCart installation, in which case they should be able to test it on their own.
