Been using OC for years this is the first time I've seen something like this.
For some orders on my website the admin (and the order email) shows only some of the products purchased. The overall total is the calculation of the products on the screen which is different from the PayPal order value, and it's like OC is ignoring certain products.
It might happen one in every hundred or so. The products that aren't appearing on the orders differ each time, so it doesn't look like it's an issue with the product configuration.
Using OC3.0.3.2 with Journal.

Probably related to the Journal 1 page checkout, disable it and use the the default checkout. Search around here you will others using Journal have this same problem.
Contact Journal support.
Backup and learn how to recover before you make any changes!
