Hi :) ,
Recently, I planned to develop a store on my website to sell my products. My friend told me that Opencart is the best option to make an online store.
Currently, my website is developed in WordPress. So, I have tried to migrate it from WordPress to Opencart. But after migration, most of the website URLs are changed automatically.

For example:
Previous URL was: https://www.gradecalculator.tech/
After migration "/components-ru/" is replaced after root URL.

As a result, Google search console shows a 404 error for many pages. So, I restored a backup of my website with WordPress again because many webpages show a 404 error and it hurts my website's search result on Google. Also, I have installed 404 to homepage redirection plugin currently.

Please give me how can I solve this issue and migrate my website with no URL issue?

Thanks in advance ;D

:) ;D

This topic has now been moved to the OpenCart 3.0 Support > General Support section of the forum.

If you don't matter outsourcing your WordPress store migration to someone else or do it on your own, I suggest you reach for migration service experts/developers. Creating URL redirects is now a must-have part of the migration process so you won't have to face these issues again. Some of the available solutions are very financially favorable, including tools from LitExtension and Cart2Cart. Especially for OP migration, I'd recommend LitExtension for your consideration.

I have tried to migrate it from WordPress to Opencart.
How did you do it?

If you're not a developer I wouldn't recommend doing this really but you could pay a developer such as ourselves or post a job in the Commercial Support Forum.

Ok, let me hire a developer who can do this job better than me.
Thanks for your advice.
