Hello guys,
I've been using Journal for a long time and recently updated to version 3. The error I've been getting are so many that I want to drop this theme for good.
So I wanted some feedback from you guys on what is a good and stable theme for opencart.
Thank you for you time.
Best Regards,
Levi Barros

Well, you then better start with a 'virgin' OC Installation, because Journal
add's about 1'300 custom Files all over the place in an OC Installation, and
you would probably not be able, to remove that bunch of Code, to then have
a clean OC again, to continue with another Theme.

I've been thinking of doing that because my store is having a lot of errors.
In order to do this what tables should I back up and restore on the new install?

Your entire database and files.

If you do not use journal3, tables related to journal3 do not need anymore. Just check you table prefix maybe it is not default "oc_"
But of course you can backup all tables. Just do not use all of them for the new installation.

And files related to Journal3 also not need anymore.

So you should install the new fresh OC and only use tables from backups that are only related to the new fresh OC installation.
Than you can install new theme and modules...
This is the best way if you do not know how to find a lot of unusable files which can cause an errors.
Or you can hire someone to help for you.

I tried to do this by the phpmyadmin since if I do it by opencart it gives me error 500, the problem is that when I try to upload the SQL it says the tables already exist. I don't know how to import the SQL ignoring the existing tables.

If you importing tables via phpmyadmin you should drop the installed new tables. After that you can import your backedup tables.
