I have released a new version of my previous popular extension for Matomo Analytics (formerly Piwik). This now supports the latest Opencart v3.x as well as lots of other improvements.
The default javascript footer text from Matomo works well for tracking simple site visits, but for more advanced features like tracking eCommerce Views & Orders it's more complex. This Extension takes care of it all for you, to allow you to track eCommerce Analytics in your store;
