Upgrade from 3.0.2 to what version? Advice needed

I am currently on Opencart 3.0.2 and would lke to upgrade to a newer version,as I amsure that some bugs and security concerns likely have been corrected...
I have two ways to do this -
1. Upgrade via Cpanel Softaculous installer
2. Do it myself.

I am looking for some good advice on either scenario, as well as perhaps letting me know if I shoudl go to the latest version or a step below?
As a side note, I am using Journal 3 theme as well...dont shoot!

Yeah, right
It's not worth it to upgrade to 3.0.3.1 or 3.0.3.2 if you have already fixed bugs on 3.0.2.0.
