[SOLVED] - Changed Theme to Journal 3 from another 3rd party theme - having issues with Checkout

I am still new to OpenCart, and I recently changed from a 3rd party theme that did not work for my store to Journal 3 which is a lot more flexible. Things are going well except I get this error when I click "checkout" from my store's cart:

Note: all files that start with "nico" are from the first 3rd party custom theme I had.

I have Opencart Version 3.0.3.2

Trying to not have to re-install OC and do a bunch of backtracking - would someone be able to help me solve this?

I am fluent with CSS3/HTML5 but have no experience with php. Hoping it can be as simple as uploading a functioning checkout php file to my home/bostonga/ocartdata/storage/modification/catalog/view/theme with filezilla or something, but I am not sure. Thanks for any help!

This TWIG file is simply missing where you are originally attempting to launch the action from. Originating from an installed extension.

Do you know if there is a quick way to get a default/unedited Opencart checkout TWIG to replace the nicocheckout.php without having to re-install OC?

nicocheckout.php file originates from an installed extension. There's no need to re-install Opencart for this. Rather, contact the extension developer to resolved this issue.

Oh boy I may have to go to fiverr again. The developer for the first theme I had was unable to give me the support I needed so I had to go to fiverr and hire someone to help (a big reason why I switched to Journal 3 theme) so I doubt she would reply for this issue any time in this century lol.

Thanks for the help though! I will google around a little more before I ask more uninformed questions.

That module possible have an ocmod file in Modifications list, or in system folder, or replace original checkout.php and load that twig file.

Out of the frying pan into the fire!

It looks like you are using a 3rd party extension for your one-step checkout which clashes with other extensions. Since Journal3 doesn't go by OpenCart standards it's worth asking Journal3 for support on this. Or you could find a developer in the commercial section of this OpenCart forum who can fix it.

Also, don't buy from codecanyon.net, they simetimes sell illegal copies of software from OpenCart extension authors, and codecanyon won't always address these copyright violations. If your one-page checkout issue can't be solved, you could always search the OpenCart marketplace for a suitable one, and ask the authors for Journal3 support!
