Have SSL cert on server, what steps are needed to get opencart to work on Apache with SSL?

Activating SSL redirect basically disables the site, so I turned the redirect off until I see what other steps are needed.

thank you

such could probably be avoided, if one of the Pro's still would be
willing to publish a similar Info Page, but meeting latest Versions.
But as time changes, habits change, and as more Pro a Business
gets, the less free Enthusiasm can be expected from it's 'Surrouding',
by Nature of human things. ::) And even more, if combined with a rising
feeling, to not have been of Importance anyway, during their time on OC.

Just an Impression, after looking for a whole bunch of Sites, once well
known at the scene, but now no longer related, those, who still exist. ::)

Looks like you're using Nginx and not Apache. Have you updated both of your config.php files in the HTTPS section and enabled SSL within the system settings of Opencart? http://docs.opencart.com/en-gb/administration/ssl/
