Unable to select out of stock options instead of hide

Greetings,


I'm using opencart 2.2.0.0 default theme for my website, for product section wish to disable out of stock option , for example selling blanket with 3 colour ( red , white , black) , white and black colour in stock status but red colour is temporary out of stock, for opencart 2.2.0.0 will automatically hide the options when options stock status is 0, I hope my customer realize that red colour blanket is temporary out of stock and unable to select options instead of hide the options, because I hope new visitor can realize there are red colour blanket and just temporary out of stock. I go through forum and there are several solution for oc 1.x version but 2.0 or above ? Much appreciate on helps. , forgive my poor english.

So you want the out of stock options to be visible but NOT clickable, is that correct ??
