Hello,
Opencart Version: 1.5.5.1
issue: Migrated existing opencart installation from godaddy to bluehost, am now unable to log in
I followed this migration video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9lwPWwhMgU.
After the migration, I'm unable to log in using any of the credentials from the original install. I have tried:
1. inserting a new user into the user table
2. attempting to reset the admin password using the admin email (no email was received)
3. changing the existing admin pass/salt in the user table
I receive no error message when i try to log in, the page seems to just reload.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have same problem please share solution

Upload a clean version of Opencart minus the install folder and any config.php/admin/config.php into a subfolder. FTP down your live site config.php, admin/config.php and .htaccess file. Change the path in all three to reflect the subsolder. Upload the amended files in to the clean file system in your subfolder and see if you can access the site or the admin folder. I.e. /subfolder and /subfolder/admin/config.php
The above will help you identify if it's the filesystem that the problem or the database. If you get really stuck post in the commericial support forum and ask for professional help. There's plenty of good chaps on here who will help you.
