Is there a way to integrate something like 'Uploadify' in to a file upload button?
The basic file upload / image upload feature would obviously not be enough for 100mb+ files.

Unfortunately, not an easy job. You can purchase a couple extensions to do that from the store. But for 100mb files, you should just use a FTP client.

2GB is nonsense. FTP is still the best bet for such large files. Else, you can consider breaking down the files with chunking, but it still is going to take forever to upload that big file.

It is very easy to use and works keeping your clients and server happy.
All uploads handle by WeTransfer which means that now you can upload files up to 2GB!
All files remains in cloud for 7days while the link of the upload is written to your order.
