I can see pages load faster once they've been viewed, obviously because they then get cached. So I wrote a quick Perl script using https://metacpan.org/pod/WWW::Crawler::Lite to run around the site so it caches things on it's own. Just wondering if someone has worked on something like this already?
I tried that Lightning extension which seemed to do something similar, but it made a mess of the site (OC3 with Journal3)

if you really need to use such a bad web theme then ask the Journal support to make their software work with the Lightning extension. Also, your problem description is quite vague! What exactly went wrong on your site?it made a mess of the site (OC3 with Journal3)
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
Nothing is wrong. The theme doesn't even matter. OC runs faster when it's cached, that's all. Why all the hostility?

I think I can expand on this idea and draw all the images to cache too, then have this webp thing re-draw all of them. Shouldn't be a big deal to load up. viewtopic.php?f=121&t=210243
