Hi
I am building a multi store but when I put the main store in maintenance mode it also put the other stores in maintenance mode. When I am in admin I can only view the main store, could some please tell me how I to put only one store in maintenance mode, I am using 3.0.3.2 or recommend a extension. Thanks

You can't. Without modification it simply not possible. If you REALLY need this, drop me an email or send a message in Skype and we'll discuss the matter.
Professional OpenCart extensions, support and custom work.

I also want to know WHY you need this?

There are many use cases where someone would want to put one store into maintenance while others remained live. An all or nothing approach with this seems unnecessary and limits the feasibility of using the multi-store for many businesses. I ran into this issue myself while building out a multi-store where I had one store ready to go live but couldn't make it go live without making other stores go live that needed further work. Yes, there are extensions that address the problem but this functionality should be in the core imho.
Yes makes sense. Generally I'd say having separate installs with a script that syncs quantities if necessary can be preferable.tdaubs wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 8:03 pmThere are many use cases where someone would want to put one store into maintenance while others remained live. OC multi-stores share virtually every functionality so maintenance on one is, in practically all cases, maintenance on all, so this is a non issue.tdaubs wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 8:03 pmThere are many use cases where someone would want to put one store into maintenance while others remained live. Yes that's a good point, a lot of code is shared so it seems unlikely someone could work on one store and not affect another.nonnedelectari wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 8:19 pmOC multi-stores share virtually every functionality so maintenance on one is, in practically all cases, maintenance on all, so this is a non issue.
