Error on editing customer order, custom fields value entrie not acepted - OC 3.0.2.0

Good day,

I have a problem when trying to eddit an order from the past, in Admin/Sales/Orders/Edit. I have already tried all the fixes I could find on the Opencart forum, including modifying the files from opencart/catalog/controller/api: customer, payment and shipping.php. On modifying this files (I have cleared all the possible caches, Theme and SASS), I can go all the way to step 3 of modyfing the order, where a strange error occurs that doesn't let me go further. After this, I have restored the original files. My website is at https://thecosmeticbottle.eu, A Journal3 theme is installed.

Hi, thanks for your answer. Yes, I use 2 custom fields, Company name and VAT number, screen shots of the error below. On the custom field setting page, there is a Validation field, Regex, I have left it blank. I have already explored your proposed solution in the topic you are mentioning, that was where new errors started appearing, on the third step of editing the order, I mentioned this in my previous message.
