Setting up dependant restrictions on product options.

Hello all, i've looked around on the forum and on the web but have not yet found an answer to what i've been looking for. (Some modules come close but so far no cigar).

We have an OpenCart 2.0.3.1 running in which we offer certain technical products among others: punches and dies. Currently aoure clients are prone to choosing the wrong combination of punch vs die in relation to the diameter of the product (this defined as a product option). We want to have the system display a message when a wrong combination has been chosen.

The perfect combination can be chosen with a fairly easy mathmatical calculation, however i have not yet found a way to integrate this in OpenCart.

For example when somebody choses a punch of 5mm, a die of smaller than 5,x mm will break the product depending on the thickness and density of materials used in which the holes are punched. So we want to tell our customers that when they choose a die of 5mm (or smaller).

It would also be nice to have the correct product and diameter show up as a related product (with the correct diameter/option preselected).

Is there a way to do so? How and with wich module?
