Thanks

Is this a secretary question or one that actually goes on the forum? Please, elaborate the request by reading the forum rules.

I'm not quite clear as to your question. There are tutorials speaking to creating coupons/discounts, but I've not seen any that speak to the placement of the coupon code. In other words, at checkout, the customer needs to populate the Coupon code field. My question is, where does the customer go to find that code? Is it on the product page, and if so, where is it normally placed, etc. I hope that clarifies. Thanks.

You might need to install an extension to notify your customers. As a suggestion, this extension uses Social Media to notify based on created coupons as it seem to provide many features with it: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=27363 .

I guess I'm not being clear. I'll try again. I've created a coupon. The user needs to enter the coupon code in order to get the discount. How does the user obtain the code? Where does he/she get it from?

Does that help? Thanks.

The idea of a coupon code is that you supply that to a select group of people or a single person.
So it is up to you how to do that, via an email, advert, sms or any other medium outside of your website to your most valued customers, friend, family, etc.

Putting it on your website for everybody to see kind of defeats the purpose.

I'm trying to set up a volume discount list. Buy so many... get so much off.
5 to 10=10% off
11 to 25 = 20% off
etc.
It is my understanding, via some tutorials, that I do that by creating coupons. Am I correct, or did I get it wrong?

Thanks!
Here's what I'm trying to do:
Product = bumper sticker:
5-10 bumper stickers = 20% discount
11-25 bumper stickers = 30% discount
26-50 bumper stickers = 40% discount

How would I set that up? Thanks
