Opencart Version 3.0.3.2
theme zerocart zSports
Top menu of categories appear, if you click on category you find out if there are any products (very few as a test)
But you don't see any drop down menu, no indication the number of products a category might have.
I have looked at menu twig in hopes of figuring it out but I've not succeeded yet.
Perhaps this is a theme issue or just that I don't know what I'm doing .

well, I just checked the demo link of the theme owner they just have sub-categories in the dropdown of the menu nothing more than that. so when you add sub-category it will start showing in the dropdown and beside the name, it will show you the total number of products that sub-category have. below is the demo link of the theme.

I don't have any subcategories so I'll have to get creative with those settings.
Perhaps the menu twig of the default theme is different from the theme twig and can be adjusted.
