Rewards System modification for Purchases at Checkout

Hi

I'd like a quote for the following;

Rewards System modification for purchases at checkout:-

1) Reward points on the customers account need to be deducted automatically, based on the total amount of products that require rewards to be deducted. Only when the order is completed. Not entered manually at checkout (that option needs to be removed).

2) If Product Price is set to 0.00 it will display the reward points value required to buy it, in the checkout.

3) If there is a mixture of currency based products and reward based products in the checkout, it will process the currency based products through the chosen payment provider, then process the reward based products by deducting them from the customers account on successful completion of the paid currency products. If the payment fails, it returns to the store without order completion. It will only show the payment providers that are currency based (no others)

4) On checkout if Product Price is greater than 0.00 (eg. 0.01) and Reward Points have been set to the product also, it will deduct the price on payment, but give the customer the reward points on their account, not deduct them. Only deduct if the price is set to 0.00 (so this will give reward points for purchases).

5) If there are no currency based products in the checkout, it will use a new Payment Provider that will need to be created and called "Reward Purchases Only" and will be the only default payment processor. This payment script will only deduct Reward points from the customers account. This payment provider option will only be seen if there are no currency based products in the checkout (no other option).

6) Voucher/Coupon Codes can be applied as normal, but will only deduct the cost from the currency based items at checkout.

7) Reward points need to be added/deducted automatically, no admin involvement to approve.

Additional change to the product information page:-
1) If Product Price is set to 0.00 it will display the reward points value required to buy it instead of a price, and show it in a different colour with a trailing "R" text next to it to show its a Rewards based item. The price is not shown (only currency based items).

Thanks everyone. After looking at it in more detail - using the rewards system, even to modify it is a mistake and over complicated, so I am going to rethink it as a credit points system, adding fields to customer and products, with modifications on the checkout. Once I have a project plan in place for it I will repost in the forum.
