PM in outbox for a long time

Hello,

I sent 2 PMs some weeks ago and one of them is still in the outbox.

Is it possible, that the PM is sent when the recipient logs in? Why not delivering immediately?

The receiver gets a notification, but the message is delivered when he signs in.
