Image and Txt Changes Depedning On Current Category

That titles isn't particulary lucid so I'll try and explain a bit better. What I want to do is change some styles and txt depending on what cateogry the user is currently viewing.

Ok. So that's the site so far (no links or anything working at the moment, more layout testing). Now, say the user goes to the Beachbabe section, I want the girl image and the copy to change accoring the the section they are in. Is this possible? I don't mind making the girl and txt all an image (although I'd prefere to have a DIV for the category txt that could change).

I figure it might be possible to somehow to base it on the controller product path, but have no idea how to go about this. Any suggestions?

This might get you started - it uses quite straightforward php & css ... it's for having a different banner image on specified pages and should be adaptable for your requirements:
