Problem with installing custom JS code in Journal2 template.

Hello,
I've created a filter form for opencart with simple JS coding. After inserting the js code in "Custom code" section of the template, i can't get it submitted. In fact it does not work at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

EDIT: I finally found the solution! The problem was that i had the same id in two sections of my code! It works like a charm now! Thank you for your help!

If I correctly remember you should place code without <script> tags...

I've placed it without <script> tags and still the form is not executed.
