Howdy! I've got OpenCart 3.0.2.0 installed fresh, working, don't seem to have any issues (at least not so far), everything is good, and no extensions added yet (I think it's best to get everything working first, got good advice on that already). But I can't find anywhere to see/change how reward points are given. I want to know this so I know how to give reward points for each item to be purchased.

I've searched the forums and I don't see anything addressing this (although it is possible that I missed something somewhere, so I apologize now if I did).

Oh, and a BIG thank you for all the support/help on here. In wandering, I found multiple fixes for other things I want to do! :)

I understand how to change how many points an item is if it's purchased in reward points. If I have a bracelet that's $30, I can let them buy it by changing the "Reward Points" points input to "30" if I want. I get that. But when someone purchases a bracelet for $30, how many reward points do they get? The link you posted just tells me the first thing, not how points are awarded on purchase.

Thanks.

Howmany points they get when they buy something is up to you and basically howmuch discount off their next purchase you want to give them.

For instance

Let's use your $30 item

I would be happy to give the buyers a 10% discount next time they purchase, so what I would do is convert the item price in to pennies (sorry I'm form the UK), therefore the points price to buy this item would be 3000

When someone actually purchases the product and because I am OK giving them 10% discount next time, I would therefore give them 300 points each time they purchased.

This then converts to any item any price.

Hope that makes sense.
